Awww, a sweet southern couple in our own Napa Valley backyard at The always spectacular, Vintage Inn / Villagio Inn & Spa! Elizabeth and Aaron, whom are from Louisiana and always answered me, “Yes, ma’am”, are no exception to southern hospitality. They had their guests for a welcome dinner at the uber fabulous Tra’Vigne Restaurant in St. Helena and everyone dined and toasted in style!
But Back to the wedding! Ok, so how cool was it that they had Renaissance costumed horn blowers to announce their procession to their ceremony! Brittany, At A Saavy Events, did a wonderful job orchestrating this gorgeous day and the flowers by Tessoro as always were so perfect! Food by the Villagio never disappoints and a cake and cookies and milk (YES!!! Cookies and milk for that late night nibble) were baked by Perfect Endings. Truly there was so much emotion and kindness from this couple. Liz looked stunning in her gown and her makeup and hair was styled by Michelle of Sisters of Napa Valley.
Such a fun reception and dancing was kicked off by the bride’s brother, Teddy, whom is a big Michael Jackson fan so he got the guests all up and out of their seats and applauding wildly while the band, Simply the Best accompanied.
And it would not be a Southern style wedding without the cigar bar that Aaron invited his guys to partake in. So, in between dance sets, the men would be out their toking on cigars sharing some laughs. Such a fantastic evening followed by Liz and Aaron escaping to Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur. Sigh.
