One of the sweetest moments of this special day was when Blaire and Connor first saw each other. As Blaire approached Connor (with his back turned), I could see the excitement in his eyes. After he turned to see his beautiful bride, he then placed a pearl bracelet on her wrist as a gift …and then she gave him a beautiful Movado watch. The first of many gifts this husband and wife will be exchanging over the years!
Blaire and Connor chose the St. Helena Parish in Napa Valley to exchange their vows in front of their many friends and family. It was a beautiful service with an Irish blessing. After the service, the bridal party darted away (Blaire and Connor in the most elegant white Rolls Royce) to Beringer Winery to take some formal portraits on the beautiful grounds before heading to the majestic Culinary Institute for their reception. Upon arrival, Kelly and her team from A Savvy Event had set the stage for the most magical night EVER! The look on Blaire’s face when she took a peek at the dining room with all the ambient candlelight glowing off of the wine barrels said it all. The room they had created was beyond words. Set almost in the middle of this dining room was the most grand cake handcrafted by the Culinary Institute chefs with its icing reflecting the light of the candles. Every detail including the beautiful floral arrangements by Nancy Liu Chin were perfect! And then when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the FOOD I mean ART started being passed. The hors de vours were aaaaamazing!! Well what do you expect at the Culinary Institute, right? …Especially when you know that Samantha Chavez, the CIAs Special Events Coordinator had every SINGLE detail thought through and then fine tuned before a guest even stepped foot on the property. Expectations were high….but I think – actually exceeded!
The night just continued with beautiful toasts and of course lots of dancing with music provided by DJ Jeremy Productions …..to end this fairy tale wedding, Blaire and Connor had a confetti send off!
